The structure of the academic year
The educational process is carried out based on the National Education Law no. 1/2011 and the Charter of the “Dimitrie Cantemir” University, the Internal Regulations, the Regulations for organizing and conducting elections for management structures and functions, the Regulations on student activity, as well as on the basis of system and operational procedures related to the Quality Manual.
University studies are organized in Romanian language.
The undergraduate program in Psychology belongs to the field of “Psychology” bachelor studies, within the fundamental field “Psychology and Educational Sciences” and is part of the first university cycle, with a period of 3 years and 180 credits.
Undergraduate degree programs are addressed to the following target groups:
– high school graduates with a baccalaureate degree;
– graduates with higher education, who pursue the development of a successful career in the psychological field.
– employees working in different fields related to the existing specialization.
The educational process, after a substantiation in the first year of study, has the following main directions: educational psychology, work and organizational psychology and clinical psychology. To this end, the curriculum is structured on fundamental, specialized and complementary disciplines. Also, emphasis is placed on practical disciplines, in order to train specialists to integrate as easily as possible in the practical activity.
Graduates of the specialization will be able to integrate in the activities within the various branches of social life and the national economy, mainly in the field of psychology, but also in the local and territorial administration
