The Faculty of Psychology of “Dimitrie Cantemir” University of Târgu Mureș announces the organization of the workshop “Participatory Workshop on European Project Ideas”, an interactive academic event dedicated to identifying, discussing and co-creating innovative European project ideas in the field of psychology.
The workshop will take place on Monday, 25 May 2026, at 4:00 PM- „Serafim Duicu” library, with a maximum duration of two hours. The event is proposed by SOLIS SRLS and will be facilitated by Ana María Solís / SOLIS SRLS, expert consultant in project development and EU funding.
The workshop is designed as a participatory and practical session, not as a traditional lecture. Its aim is to support participants from the Faculty of Psychology in developing future European project ideas related to psychology, mental health, emotional wellbeing, inclusion, education and community support.
The event will bring together students, professors, researchers and university staff from the Faculty of Psychology and will include short inputs, facilitated group work and collective prioritisation.
Main thematic directions
The workshop will explore potential project ideas connected to:
– mental health and emotional wellbeing of young people;
– psychological support in schools, universities and community contexts;
– prevention of anxiety, isolation, burnout and social exclusion;
– inclusion of vulnerable groups through psychological and educational approaches;
– youth participation, empowerment and resilience;
– digital wellbeing and the psychological impact of technology;
– creative and participatory methodologies for wellbeing;
– interdisciplinary cooperation between psychology, education, health and social innovation.
The activity will be based on facilitation methods such as collective mapping of needs and challenges, problem tree analysis, brainstorming in small groups, Project Idea Canvas, gallery walk, dot voting and closing reflection.
By the end of the workshop, participants are expected to develop a shared map of needs and challenges in the field of psychology, several initial European project ideas, one or more prioritised project concepts and a preliminary Project Idea Canvas for the most promising proposals.
The workshop creates a collaborative framework for future academic and international initiatives and may open pathways for project development under programmes such as Erasmus+, CERV, Horizon Europe and other relevant European funding opportunities.
