The examination is organised in accordance with the Council of Europe’s Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and assesses four key language skills: listening comprehension, spoken production and interaction, reading comprehension, and written production.
The certification sessions take place in person at the Dimitrie Cantemir University campus in Târgu Mureș. All examination components are compulsory and will be held on the same day.
Registration is completed online by sending the required documents to anpregatitor@cantemir.ro no later than 6 November 2026.
Required documents:
– Completed application form (downloaded from the website).
– A copy of a valid identity document (identity card or passport).
– Proof of payment of the examination fee.
- Examination fee: €200 for levels C1–C2 and €180 for levels B1–B2.
- Payment details: Transfer the amount to account RO72BACX0000002583530001, UniCredit Bank, SWIFT: BACXROBU. In the payment reference, please state “Romanian language proficiency certificate examination fee” and the candidate’s full name.
- The examination will take place only if at least 10 candidates register.
Notification of results and issuing of certificates
Requests for a review of the results must be submitted to the email address provided above within 24 hours of notification of the initial result. The outcome of the review will be communicated within no more than two working days after the submission period has closed.
Final results will be published on the University website and sent to candidates by email, together with information about the date and location where successful candidates may collect their language proficiency certificates. Certificates must be collected within two years of their date of issue.
